Gastric Sleeve
Gastric Sleeve helps patients lose weight by removing approximately 80 per cent of the stomach using minimally invasive surgical techniques
Gastric sleeve surgery in Turkey has become the most popular choice for patients seeking excellent and permanent weight loss in a straightforward minimally invasive procedure that doesn’t require maintenance. Since 2010, gastric sleeve is the fastest growing bariatric surgical procedure and the preferred choice of doctors. This is for several reasons but mainly because complication rates are very low, weight loss is good and surgery time is shorter than for other operations. Surgeons want you to be successful and care about getting you healthy quickly after your gastric sleeve surgery, without problems as they know you are a future success story for them!
We all know that if you exercise and eat right you will lose weight. However, many people have tried those methods for years and still cannot achieve the desired results; in fact, only 2% of obese people will be able to lose weight in this way and achieve a healthy BMI. Being overweight puts patients at risk of serious health problems. For some people that cannot lose weight, bariatric surgery is the only option left. Evidence shows that the gastric sleeve procedure leads to significant long term permanent loss of weight and this kind of procedure is considered the least traumatic of all the surgical procedures for obesity.

If there is no obstacle to the operation, the patient is usually operated on on the examination day and the day after.
Pre-Operation Diet
The weight ratio to be given before the operation is determined according to the patient’s current weight and general condition. In the case of hepatic steatosis (2-4 weeks), the liver is reduced. After this short-term diet, the patient is targeted to reach the specified weight.
Duration of Private Hospital Stay
Our patients are discharged within 2 to 3 days.
Patients from Abroad
They arrive at the hospital on the scheduled operation day, one hour before the operation time. The total postoperative hospitalization period is three nights. Our patient was discharged from the hospital, remained near the hotel, was determined in Turkey for four days, and performed a physical examination before leaving Turkey.
Back to Work
It may vary according to the profession of the patient.
If they do not work under severe physical conditions, patients can continue working within 7-10 days.
Gastric Balloon
Gastric Balloon is a silica balloon placed in the stomach and inflates with air or liquid in the stomach. After the procedure, it is raised to a specific size with the help of serum. This process takes about 20-30 minutes on average. After the application, the patient is discharged on the same day after being kept under observation
